HGW04a Pompeii. 1836 plan by De Jorio.
According to De Jorio, the top of the monument was entirely ruined.
On it were found pieces of columns which held up a circular cornice.
There were 6 statues, three of men, each in a toga and three of women, each wearing a pallium (Greek cloak).
In the centre rose a square structure that would hold the main urn.
There were 11 niches in the tomb. Eleven cippi were found outside at c, d and f.
